The 2nd annual International Invasive Species and Climate Change Conference (IISCCC) was organized by the Regional Invasive Species and Climate Change (RISCC) Management Network and hosted by NAISMA on December 9 and 10, 2025. This conference was VIRTUAL allowing for more international attendance while reducing our carbon footprint. You can watch the recorded conference here:
Southeast RISCC attended the North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA) annual conference in Lake Tahoe. We presented on our upcoming projects in the Climate Change session on Nov. 6th from 2:05-3:05pm. We also held a special Cross-RISCC Climate Change Scenario Planning Workshop that morning, hosted by Pacific RISCC’sElliot Parsons and Northeast’s RISCC’s Deah Lieurance.
The 2025 Southeast CASC Regional Science Symposium was held September 9-11, 2025, at the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Asheville, NC. This intentional meeting dedicated time to discuss and identify gaps and needs for actionable science production and delivery that meets the requirements of managers for on-the-ground application.
